I attempted to make a simple FPS game by Unity. I tried to experience all parts of unity as possible as I could, and I’ve learned a lot, especially about player control and the logic of collision physics between several objects in the scene.
I started from Roll a Ball game tutorial. Additionally, I referred other basic online tutorials and a book I have that handles general unity features.
In terms of composing the workspace in unity, ordering hierarchy was a good exercise to manage assets efficiently.
All those free assets were from the asset store.
